Air knife comparison

The Super Air Knife offers the best performance with an air boost effect of 40:1, this makes it the most effective of all three types. The Super Air Knife delivers a uniform, laminar air flow along the entire length of the Air Knife; it is powerful and very quiet. It achieves the highest speed and has the lowest air consumption. There are compressed air inlets on each side, and 2 on the underside of the air blade. Multiple Super Air Knives can be extended in combination without interrupting the air flow.

The Standard Air Knife offers good performance with an air boost effect of 30:1, but is less efficient than the Super Air Knife. It is a good choice if you are looking for an inexpensive alternative. Standard Air Knives also offer a uniform and powerful air flow, but they are louder and consume more air than the Super Air Knife. There is one compressed air inlet on each side. The total length is 25 mm longer than the air flow length.

The Full Flow Air Knife offers good performance with an air boost effect of 30:1. It is the low-budget variant and well suited for tight cavities (very narrow, and therefore space saving). It is less powerful than the other two Air Knives. In terms of air consumption and the noise level, the Full Flow Air Knife lies exactly between the Super Air Knife and the Standard Air Knife. The compressed air inlet is at the rear centre. For a surcharge, the Full Flow Air Knife can also be ordered with compressed air inlets at the sides, however, this is not recommended which required a uniform air flow over the entire length of the Air Knife.
