What Is The Digital Flowmeter?
EXAIR’s Digital Flowmeter is the easy way to monitor compressed air consumption and waste! The digital display shows the exact amount of compressed air being used downstream. This makes it possible to save thousands of dollars per year in compressed air waste – helping to identify costly leaks or inefficient air products. Many companies install the Digital Flowmeter on each major leg of their air distribution system to constantly monitor and reduce compressed air usage.
What Is The Hot Tap Digital Flowmeter?
The Hot Tap Digital Flow Meter allows installation under pressure. This means that the pipe on which the Hot Tap is installed does not have to be specially insulated and depressurized beforehand. The installation time is the same as for the other standard meters. The probes are passed through two valves. A silencer catches the chips from the drilling process. The flowmeter is available from 2″ to 8″. The digital display shows the exact amount of compressed air used. This makes it easy to identify costly leaks or inefficient products. No cutting, welding, adjusting or calibrating is required.

EXAIR’s Hot Tap Digital Flowmeter™ with integrated data logger allows installation under pressure, eliminating the need for pipe insulation. The award-winning Model 9147 USB Data Logger connects directly to the Digital Flowmeter and is easy to use. Use the included software to configure the data logger to record flow rate. Download the software to configure and record flow rates from once per second to once every 12 hours. Available for flow meters from 2″ to 8″.

If you disconnect the data logger from the flow meter and connect it to a computer, you can export the data directly to Microsoft Excel using the supplied software. The data logger is also available pre-installed on the Digital Flow Meter.
